Man attacks transgender student, carves "IT" into victim's chest

"I feel lucky because I'm alive."—Colle Carpenter, a grad student in Long Beach, CA, who survived a knife attack this week. The attacker carved "IT" into his chest. A rally is planned for Thursday.
