David Mills Dead at 48

Writer David Mills has died of a brain aneurysm yesterday in New Orleans. He was an Emmy-winning writer and producer who worked on some of the most critically lauded shows on television, including ER, The Wire, Picket Fences and Homicide. He died of a brain aneurysm at the age of 48. HBO issued a statement:
"HBO is deeply saddened by the sudden loss of our dear friend and colleague David Mills. He was a gracious and humble man, and will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him, as well as those who were aware of his immense talent."
