Touchscreen shortage hurts iPhone 4, Orange offers microSIM adapter, Face Time leaves voice minutes

Supplies of the iPhone 4 that is set to launch soon are going to be short because of a touchscreen shortage according to reports. The shortage of screens is said to have halfed production capacity.

Orange has promised to provides each of the iPhone 4 buyers an adapter for the microSIM that will let them use the card in any unlocked smartphone. O2 will also offer a similar adapter.

Apple has announced that video calls placed using Face Time will not count towards the user's voice minutes. The voice calls end when the Face Time calls starts.
