I just stumbled across the aptly-named DIY wedding blog, 'I do' It Yourself. Written by an Aussie art director and wedding-stationery-designer, the site is full of project tutorials that are wedding-appropriate—though most can probably be adapted for other uses, too.
Yesterday, the blogstress (whose name I can't find) posted a tutorial explaining how to use Photoshop to make faux Polaroids. I haven't road-tested it yet, but it looks like a promising technique.
