Forget sequels—what every hit deserves these days is a prequel, right? And since Pride and Prejudice and Zombies quickly turned into an undead juggernaut, it was only a matter of time.
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dawn of the Dreadfuls, which goes on sale March 23, is set four years before the bloody events of PP&Z and shows how Jane Austen's Elizabeth Bennet turned from a naive teenager into a slayer of the undead.
Edgar, Shamus and Anthony awards finalist Steve Hockensmith continues the Austen/zombie mashup now that Seth Grahame-Smith has moved on to Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
